Trustlife Ventures Lab Sağlık Teknolojileri AŞ (Trustlife Venture Lab) in Istanbul Turkey develops novel drug candidates for the treatment of several metabolic diseases and different types of cancer, under the leadership of Prof. Adil Mardinoğlu. We are seeking highly motivated researchers in Organic/ Medicinal Chemistry,with a strong interest in scientific projects. The candidate must be self-motivated and able to work independently but also to work efficiently in an international team setting. All of our research projects are highly collaborative. The exposure to highly collaborative research projects and the members of the research teams should be intellectually stimulating. The projects will be carried out in the Trustlife Ventures Lab in Istanbul, Turkey. The Laboratory is located near the Istanbul Finance Center in the Anatolian part of Istanbul.
Trustlife Ventures Lab is an international resource of unique technologies and expertise available to scientists, closely intertwined with the community of researchers in areas such as drug discovery, drug formulation and molecular biology. It aims to bring scientists together across traditional boundaries and collaborations with industry, health care, public research organizations and international partners.
Trustlife Ventures Lab;
International research teams, Develop world-class medical products,Provide platforms for every single step of the drug discovery pipeline,Employ DDTD: Data-Driven Target Discovery methodology
The Trustlife Ventures Lab mainly focus on the use ofmedicinalchemistry to produce novel compounds for therapeutic targets to treat diseases.Trustlife Ventures Lab research group currently possesses qualified and experienced post-doctoral researchers working in the research and development with an emphasis on the design and synthesis of new drug substances and natural products as well as the discovery of drugs to treat unmet medical needs in the world.
Trustlife Ventures Lab also aims to focus onNovel Drug Delivery Systemsto increase the efficiency and bioavailability of molecule candidates developed with innovative methods by designing new generation drug delivery systems. It allows a therapeutic substance to enter the body and increases the efficacy and safety of drugs by controlling the rate, time and place of release of drugs in the body.
Moreover, Trustlife Ventures Lab intends to performin vitro studiesand to design experimental plans forin-vivo studies. It works with customized cell lines.
The Mardinoglu Lab at SciLifeLab, Stockholm, Sweden develop Genome-scale metabolic models (GEMs) and Integrated biological networks for human cells/tissues and employ these comprehensive models in the analysis of the omics data obtained from subjects with complex diseases including metabolism-related diseases, and certain types of cancer. This is an exciting area of biomedical research, driven by the increase of common metabolic disorders as well as recent discoveries of metabolic reprogramming in cancer.
Researcher Positions:
Novel drug targets have been identified by the Mardinoglu group using Artificial Intelligence & Systems Biology and the successful drug candidates will be developed for NAFLD, T2D, Muscle sarcopenia, Liver Cancer, Kidney Cancer, Pancreas Cancer, Prostat Cancer and GBM. Medicinal chemists will develop a multistep synthesis of lead compounds to study structure-activity relationships, with guidance from computer-based drug design performed by a computational team. The project will be carried out at the Trustlife Ventures Lab under the daily supervision of the Trustlife Ventures Lab Researchers team as well as Prof. Adil Mardinoglu via weekly and bi-weekly meetings. The project will provide an opportunity to practice cutting edge medicinal chemistry in an interdisciplinary context that directly impacts the discovery of new therapeutics for global unmet medical needs.
